What we collect

Only what you type into one of three forms: a renewal reminder, a PDF report request, or the enquiry form.

Everything you enter into a calculator stays in your browser. It is computed on your device and never sent to us. You can run every calculator on this site without us learning anything about you.

Why

To assess and place your mortgage, and to contact you about it. A renewal date is used to time reminders ahead of that date and nothing else.

Who we share it with

Lenders and default insurers we submit your file to, and the service providers running our email and CRM systems. We do not sell your information.

Credit

We do not pull your credit report without your explicit consent, and we ask for that consent separately from the enquiry form.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@rateshop.ca. Every reminder email has a one-click unsubscribe.

Cookies necessary to run the site and, with your consent, analytics telling us which pages get used. Nothing identifying you is passed to advertisers.
